Who we are Meet the makers

Our Story

Creative DeZigns began in 1986, founded by my late mum after raising her family in Johannesburg and returning to the UK. Inspired by the creativity and spirit of South Africa, she recognised a need for unique, affordable accessories that felt personal and different from the mass-produced options on the high street - and offered UK women a way to express themselves with confidence and individuality. Having worked closely with her on this passion-fuelled journey, I stepped into the lead nearly two decades ago, continuing her vision, with a focus on small-batch production, ethical fashion and a deep respect for South African craftsmanship. Today, I work directly with skilled artisans in Cape Town and Nepal to create stylish, easy-to-wear clothing and jewellery designed for real women and real lives. These are feel-good pieces - thoughtfully made, ethically sourced, and full of the laid-back, sun-soaked spirit of South Africa.

Oria is a jewellery label by a young Australian designer Sylvia Xanthos. The Oria muse is a minimalist, yet eclectic and quirky, feminine yet bold, with a touch of eccentricity and confidence in her personal style. Oria designs are diverse, timeless with a clean and simple aesthetic as the common thread.

The studs in these earrings are made from a surgical stainless steel, so safe for sensitive ears. They are also baked into the clay so there is no risk of glue getting unstuck over time. The Polymer clay is made in unique one-off colourways and is light and comfortable to wear all day

The Cosima earring features a polymer clay shape with a hoop and silver strand charm. It will arrive in a beautiful little voile draw string bag.
