Explore our slow fashion clothing for women, thoughtfully made from natural fibres and produced in small batches by skilled artisans under fair working conditions. From organic cotton knitwear to breathable cotton and linen shirts and versatile trousers, every piece is designed for comfort, style, and longevity. We use cotton grown without harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilisers and prioritise low-impact materials that respect both people and the planet. Our commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainable production ensures clothing that feels good, looks good, and carries purpose.
JEWELLERY
Handmade by skilled artisans, our jewellery is created in small batches using locally sourced materials. Each piece is designed with care to minimise environmental impact, while fair pay ensures that artisan communities are supported and empowered. Choosing ethical South African handcrafted jewellery allows you to express your individual style while embracing sustainable values
Our Story
Creative DeZigns began in 1986, founded by my late mum after raising her family in Johannesburg and returning to the UK. Inspired by the creativity and spirit of South Africa, she recognised a need for unique, affordable accessories that felt personal and different from the mass-produced options on the high street - and offered UK women a way to express themselves with confidence and individuality. Having worked closely with her on this passion-fuelled journey, I stepped into the lead nearly two decades ago, continuing her vision, with a focus on small-batch production, ethical fashion and a deep respect for South African craftsmanship. Today, I work directly with skilled artisans in Cape Town and Nepal to create stylish, easy-to-wear clothing and jewellery designed for real women and real lives. These are feel-good pieces - thoughtfully made, ethically sourced, and full of the laid-back, sun-soaked spirit of South Africa.
