Wild Olive Jewellery – Handmade Textile Jewellery from South Africa

Based along South Africa’s Garden Route, Wild Olive creates handmade textile jewellery using recycled materials like fabric, plastic, and glass. Founder Nushka, with a background in textile design and clothing production, began experimenting with colourful fabric offcuts, transforming them into lightweight statement necklaces.

Now a growing community project, Wild Olive supports local women—especially mothers—by offering flexible employment both from home and in the workshop. Each piece is thoughtfully made, combining sustainable practices with bold design, and celebrates the vibrant creativity of South African artisan jewellery.
